We have been informed that many of our customers are not receiving calls from Verizon wireless customers. Our technical staff has confirmed that Verizon is not properly routing calls to us. We have also confirmed this problem is not isolated to our companies. If you are a Verizon wireless customer placing a call to a Park Region Telephone, Otter Tail Telcom, Rothsay Telephone or Valley Telephone customer and get a message that the number is busy, please contact Verizon by calling 611 and report the issue. Verizon will ask you for the following information.
- Date of Trouble
- Time of trouble
- Time zone the customer resides in.
- Calling cell phone number and called number
- How many time they call the number in a given time frame.
We are truly sorry we can’t fix this on our end, be we don’t have control over calls that are not properly routed to us.
